I am about to buy my first motorcycle, a 1997 LS650 Savage. It looks mint with only 4000 miles and new tires (dealer says old ones were cracked). I am going to take my dad with me tomorrow for one last look. Is there anything at all I need to ask or look for to make sure it isn't a lemon. I am going to ride it around the dealer parking lot (don't have license yet). The original owner had an after market pipe on it that the dealer is replacing with a new factory pipe. Old one got hot and turned blue. Dealer said it was a cheap pipe.
Just any advise will help before I pass the point of no return. It is a beautiful red color by the way.
